About me: We bought our first house when we were 21. No doubt a fixer-upper. We did not have the money to pay someone to do the work, so we figured it out ourselves, with the help of family and friends. It also helped being a son of a Plumber. Most plumbing and electrical projects aren't an issue. 3 houses later, remodeling each one from the inside out, not to mention the many friends and family's houses I've worked on, I have a good handle on most household projects.
